Dear TS, sorry to say this but it seems there are a couple of sincere bros trying to help u...but u not open to try out new things and come out of ur comfort zone..either ur dog is always the reason to hinder u or u just not into things ike rock climbing etc. Nothing is impossible if u really want to know more pple n since u are not into online apps etc...u cannot expect someone to cater to ur situation to be ur buddy.

Else...u can always convert ur dog to be ur buddy n thats it....

Bro, sorry to correct you, but I would like to address some of your assumptions here.

For me, this is not about "stepping out of your comfort zone". Say if you hate the taste of oysters. Would you force yourself to eat oysters over and over again just to join the oyster-lover club? No, right? You would probably look for another club that suits your interests.

And if there is this new club has a requirement for you to go gallivanting overseas for a week, leaving your kid alone at home with nobody to take care of, would you say OK LETS GO SIGN ME UP ALREADY? Well, this one is up to you, but I don't think you can fault me for not wanting to go overseas at this time for the reasons stated.

I have listed a number of my interests in the thread. Bros who have shared interests can always PM me. Also, we can always talk-cock-sing-song in the forums about trivial things. Not everything has to be an immediate FULL SPEED AHEAD 100% commitment ya? I am looking for like-minded bros to do stuff we all like. I am not looking to force myself to do things I don't want just to be accepted by people.

Thanks for the offer bro. Its a bit of a shame, but while I like hiking/traveling, I cannot leave the country for the time being. My dog's health isn't very good, and I stay alone with nobody to take care of her.

I even had to cancel a trip to Japan because of that >.>

For hiking, the dream would be to revisit the Blue Mountains in Sydney again... awesome sights, nice climate where you can walk for hours without feeling grimy... sigh...
