The Lions XII team is not that bad from what I watched from the last match against Kelantan... I think they can finish top 5 in the league at least, for sure.

The last time was during the Tiger Cup/ Suzuki Cup or also known as Asean Championship. Those matches really got Malaysia Cup feel. Other than that, it would be when clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal and Man U comes to Singapore.

For myself, my support will be dependent on the style of play. Play attractive, gutsy football and I will support. After all, these guys are so young and youthful enthusiasm should be allowed to surface. I think the 20 year old Shafuwan Bahruddin, 20 year Hanafi and 20 year old Hariss Harun are good exciting players to watch out for. Our left and right backs(forgot their names) seem to be able to whip in good crosses too. I rather win 3-2 than to win 1-0 and then defend all the way.

I'm glad to read all your memories of the old times. Brings back memories too. For myself, I don't sit too close to the pitch. Whenever we score a goal and everyone stands up or whenever the referee makes a Kayu decision, people are so excited they just throw whatever they are holding. I've seen packets of Bee Hoon and Hot coffee being flung in the air. I always remember a guy's head covered in Bee Hoon. Damn funny. He turned around to look up the stands and about 10 rows away was another guy who kept saying Sorry. Classic!

bro lacoruna69,agree tat the Singapore LIONSXII could gun 4 their 1st win @ home against Kuala Lumpur FA next Tuesday.
KL FA played 2 matches & lost both,somemore yesterday they lost 3-nil @ home against PBDKT T-Team(current league leader).
KL FA has conceded 5 goals,without scoring a single goal so far.
But ..... u never know.

LionsXII 1 - 2 Kelantan : LionsXII kicked off MSL with home loss

Singapore kicked-off their return to Malaysian competitions with a 1-2 defeat to Kelantan at Jalan Besar Stadium.

Starting the match amidst massive fan-fare in front of a sell-out crowd, the LionsXII were felled by Mohammed Mahmoud Ghaddar's penalty on 79 minutes.

Towering centre-back Baihakki Khaizan, rose the highest from a Shahdan Sulaiman in-swinging free-kick to head home from close range at the centre of the penalty box.

Baihakki's and Singapore fans' joy was shortlived though, as Kelantan were able to find the equaliser just under ten minutes later, right at the end of the first half.

Norshahrul Idlan Talaha was left unmarked inside the box as a deep free-kick evaded the Singapore defence and fell perfectly for the forward who volleyed past Izwan Mahbud, leaving the young custodian no chance.

Kedah 0 - 0 Lions XII : LionsXII claw out goalless draw in Kedah

The Lions XII's first away game in 2012's Malaysia Cup ended in a 0-0 draw with Kedah, giving Singapore its first point in the league table.

This is the LionsXII's first point in the league after losing 1-2 to Kelantan last Tuesday.

They will play Kuala Lumpur next Tuesday at Jalan Besar Stadium.

Brings back memories of Rafi TAK GUNA Ali whenever Nazri is not playing

Todays game was like a Nasional side playing against an Under 18 S-League side. Passing today was actrocious.

Hopefully this win could spur the spirit of the team for the next game.
