By the way, for the food goers in Batam,especially those who stayed in nearby Formosa area, there is a Go Food Festival in Citywalk...hehehe...

I believe they were preparing for the coming weekend. Could be some kind of a show or something supporting the use of Go Food (Go Car, Go Pay etc).

There should be quite a big variety of local food in the food fair. May drop by there to take a look if chance allows,hehehe...

Just notice the sponsor comes from Citra Plaza,hehehe...a good sign?

Yesterday is my 1st time in batam to chiong. But as going with colleague and he don't chiong so I only able to go to the hotel massage after he rest.

Paid too much is not so the issue as long as you enjoyed it and the price is not unreasonable to you. I assume the 800k and 400k for full svc and BJ is inclusive of the massage fee?
The bigger issue us did you nego for a lower price?

Anyway, for first timer, its inevitable hat sometimes we paid a bit of tuition. As long as enjoy and safe, it's fine.

There is now a small food fair or Bazaar (Pasar Malam) at Harbour Bay ferry terminal Bayfront Mall now,hehehe...for those who are in the area or travelling via Harbour Bay ferry to Batam today, dont miss it...hehehe...another promotion by Go Pay but dont know who organize it tho. There's a live band there too.

...and if you use Go Pay ,i think can get 30% off of what you buy in the food fair too.

I am loading 100k rupiah in my girl's Gojek GoPay apps and ask her to go buy me some Indonesia food now,hehehe...

A lot of apartment block launches in Batam but they seems to going pretty slow in building. Checked out on Baloi apartment when i was in Grand Batam, the sales agent tells me (via a translator,hehehe..) it will take roughly about 3 years, tentatively between end of 2022 to 1st half of 2023 to complete and collect key.

I saw Citra Plaza's poster (the one you said still drilling) that states 95% of the apartments of it were sold out.

I think by the time they start 1st 2 storey of the block, it would becompletely sold,hehehe...so i think i might have to skip this one or just wait for tower 3 to be up for sale.

Its not all food tho...there are other things for sale too,hehehe...

Actually the food isnt cheap on Batam term...but with the 30% off on Go Pay cash back,its still worthy,hehehe...

Go Pay can be use for Go Car taxi payment too.

Still a pretty small one tho. And by the way, food quite fit my taste bud tho. Maybe its becos of the price,hehehe...

...this one below comes with a bottle of the free mineral water. But the stated food Soto Banjar cost 20k rupiah.

Photo below is my lunch for 2 person today,hehehe...total cost is 88k rupiah after the 30% Go Pay cashback. The item on the Red Circle of the photo below is not included in the 88k rupiah tho. And surprisingly, not all stores accept Go Pay ,hehehe...

There is also a place for people who buy the food from them to sit down to eat but well...dont expect to find any seats tho,hehehe...especially so on weekends.

My 1st of such Indonesia bazaar experience in a Batam mall.

I also notice something interesting in one of the stall, shall share more if i could still remember,hehehe...

Lastly, the so called Live Band there, whereby the below Indonesian singers in the band sang some Chinese songs which attracted a lot of people later on. Smart move!

The best of this trip isnt the above tho,hehehe...i am keeping it wrapped for now. Still got quite a handful of stuffs to post.
