For today? Harbour Bay 10500/SGD (after a hard time bargaining ,changing S$300) and opposite Formosa at 10540/SGD (completely no need to bargain at all).

When i pop that question, i more or less guess in mind that you have not marry any indos,hehehe...the question is base on if you would by any chance, have any idea of it (or if any chance you could ask N about it? hehehe...). And also a likely question for anyone who might knows.
My apologize that i didnt spell it out clear enough.
Now we are don,t talk about chicken. We talk about the food, the machiam machiam small thing and big thing that we do in Batam. Does everything has increase to the roughly same price that we have in singapore already? Let me tell you all. Everything is still as cheap as years years ago. Only the chicken had increase to a price that is call stupid for those that to take the chicken. The day will come that many will kpkb that wa ran a. An jua batam a chee bye a nay gui, i will see that one day someone will complain.
Hehehe...pesta is dowry, and dowry cost around S$5k,which is about 50 juta. I believe as you type this, the bro whom PM-ed me should be reading it. I think he might have got a rude shock with the around S$16k marriage expenses and the hurrying part of the parents to try to marry their daughter off to him.
Pesta is not dowry, bro. Maybe I was a bit unclear (i can get a bit long winded sometimes. Hahah) pesta is the wedding banquet, which cost sgd5k but is optional. Dowry is sgd500. Yes. Idr5m which is sgd500. That was what my previous batam gonna-be-gf-but-didnt-happen told me. Unless I remember wrongly. Cause I remembered I laugh when I heard this and compared to sg.

...selling at about S$40k plus minus. (landed property actually isnt that expensive but i think it isnt eligible for foreigners),installment for a studio apartment is around S$680 a month (foreigner eligible). Not so expensive afterall for most Sillyporean tho,hehehe...thank you for sharing the good info.
*Actually i have seen in real life Indo girls selling away the house the guy bought and ran away with the money (written in the old Batam thread, where it happens in my ex work place's building cleaner).
I think when they get married, I doubt he would want to travel back and forth to the girl's village, so it would be easier to convince the girl's parents to let the girl move to batam and buy a house there.
I was looking for property there too. But for foreigners, you can only buy properties that are sgd75k and above (Not inclusive of luxury tax etc). And the upcoming properties coming up which offers foreigners financing for studio apartments, the financing period is only 5 years max if I recall correctly. So either u have to fork out a big first instalment, or you have to pay generally about sgd2-3k per month.

Yup, heard this too. But that's what happen when u withdraw your CPF then buy a house there for some 20plus year old girl who's clearly just marrying you for your money.
So on one hand, you can get cheaper properties by buying a house when married to a local and using her name (notary option to explore whether it really protects you) which to some is risky and dangerous. On the other, you can get those luxury properties which are actually properties held under the name of the property developer, and they then issue a deed or some sort to in effect, issue the property under your name.

You dont need to cerai in SG first, for you to nikah in Indon.
You also dont need to cerai in SG for you to nikah 10 times in indon.
There are many ways to do that..
Hmm...i just receive a PM from a bro about marrying an Indo girl NOT in Batam (those kampong area type). Just curious how much the wedding will cost tho. The girl side's parents were looking at about nearly 160 juta,hehehe...
That remind me of two things,
1 is like your profile pic, the carrot head
2 is like a kambing being potong into pcs in kampong
160juta
Normally slightly grand wedding in kampong, with invitation to 650 houses, few thousands ppl attending. With stage set up, nicely deco, videos, costume dress up, ceremony by kepala desa and official from KUA, buffet style lunch and dinner, usually Cost below 20juta.
As for dowry, is up to indiviual, Rp500k also can. Not standard rate. Only one thing is better to have, Seprangkat alat sholat.
Hi bros, can i know cewek says “long time” means what? Is it Overnight? Or 3 shots?
I know “short time” they mean 1 shot.
My indo not very good. So need to know what they mean by “long time”
1) They say and write "sortem"
2) I never heard "long time". Rather than that, the keyword in common use is "booking", which means "till morning". Then, various interpretations apply...

With money semua bisa. Esp in Indon. Afterall just a sijil. One can still take pork. Muslim in name only. Just to please the girls family n relatives. Like wat my pious Muslim friend told me. Believing in God is a very personal thing. God is watching. Ren cai chuok..tian cai kan. But of course tis apply to practising righteous Muslims.
Actually getting married is not tat expensive in those kamp kamp area. I witnessed one at Sumatra late 90s. Saw they exchange gifts. Simple gift like Quran...praying mat...prayers beads etc Pesta...a simple n budget feast. Below 10 juta

Short time is one shot, finish that is it or within 1 hour.
Some understand Longtime, some do not, but booking is understood as overnight, can be 2 shots or more , need to clarify first.
However, WeChat girls always run after 1 shot even for overnight booking. Just take them for short time if agreeable and lock all assets in safe before inviting them to your room, enjoy.

On wechat now the ceweks use these terms short time, long time.
