I don't really understand your problem because what circumcision does is to remove the foreskin so how can something tear when it isn't there anymore?

There is no more foreskin so where exactly is the tear taking place?

Maybe use lube if you are cut tight

The problem is I feel like the foreskin is very tight which made me unable to retract fully

Hi gwalker and guylikeyou, can i roughly know what is the process for circumision in hospital? did u all just call up the urology department or go thru polyclinic referral, as i am looking for general anesthesia so hospital will be better than clinic

Why go through the risks of general anesthesia when all that is needed is a local anesthetic?

Hi Okitoo, I have yet to go for my circumcision. It will be end of this month. I got the referral from the polyclinic. I am not sure it will be general or local anesthesia. I prefer local one. My worry is whether I will get a nice cut and the style I want from doctor in the hospital. Should I just go to the clinic for a better cut? Any advice from anyone? Can PM too.

what makes u think u will get a better "cut" in the clinic?

i would think it is better to do it in a hospital. u can request for a consultant( or min a associate consultant ) to do it if u prefer someone more experience.

Circumcision is one of the simplest surgical procedures that does not even require a qualified surgeon.

Circumcision has been around since ancient times. Studies have shown that circumcision dates back 15,000 years.

Muslim circumcision can be performed by an Imam with no medical qualifications whatsoever.

My procedure was performed by my GP. We didn't even discuss "styles" and everything was fine.

totally agree with what u said sam.. it is a very simple procedure and a Imam would do a good job..

but imo there is no proof that clinic jobs are better than one that is done in a hospital like what he suggested.

you are not trimming your pubic hair are you? i am not sure if you can actually choose a style..

i would probably know better if u are asked about FGM...but then again FGM isnt the norm from where i am....

I honestly have no idea. You'd have to discuss this with your doctor and I don't think there is one definitive answer as everybody is different.

However I can say that sex is definitely better after circumcision regardless of what style you choose.
