18 Mar Sat Night

I kept on reminiscing the wonderful moments that I spent with 小雷 four nights ago at her place, and were longing to meet her again.

With the number she gave me during our first encounter, I paged for her, and asked her would she be free to have dinner with me. Communication in those days could only be made via pager. Hand phone then was still not introduced to China, let alone talking about Smart phone, Face book, What Sapp, QQ and We chat which are still years away from being invented.

She agreed to my invitation for dinner. We had our dinner at Chen Long Restaurant, one of the well patronized eating places near Holiday Inn Hotel. After dinner, I suggested KTV. For convenience, she brought me to a KTV directly opposite her place.

She had her period so I could not be naughty that night. After KTV, she walked back to her lodging while I hailed a cab back to my apartment.


19 Mar Sun

With the rapport and relationship (KC) built up, 小雷 suggested the previous night to be my guide for the day for a trip to 西山(Western Hills) which is one of the renowned resorts in Yunnan.

Due to unforeseen logistic problem, the trip was cancelled. She suggested I spent the entire day with her at her place, much to my delight.

So I spent a quiet Sunday at her place from morning to 9pm. We cuddled together in bed the whole day in such nice weather (day temperature of 18C and night temperate of 6C). I treated her as if she was my mistress. We left her place at 9pm for a show at a theatre which was within walking distance.

Before we left for the show, she cooked her first dinner for me. She mentioned to me that she had never cooked for any man before. I felt very honoured. I understood that Singapore men were favorably looked upon by Chinese women due to their high educational status and bilingual ability. So I felt lucky to be one.

小雷 still had her period. So there was no hanky panky.

During pillow talk, 小雷 told me that she could not be with me constantly as she had to make a living. I gave her 300RMB as an appreciation for her keeping me company for whole day even there was no sex involved. Kunming is a boring city which was devoid of much entertainment and nice shopping centre then compared to the present era. If you are budget conscious and choose to stay at home, there is also not much entertainment on their local TV as most of the shows were skewed towards communism. Had I not had 小雷 for company constantly, I would have died of boredom staying in the apartment. I might even contemplate to seek an early departure from Kunming.
