Agree on the emotional and mental aspect. Physical hurt at least can be coped with using obvious physical solutions. How do you cope with burning emotional and mental trauma from betrayal or being used and disposed? It's a lot more difficult, and it burns the psyche inside to become something... Just that bit more cruel and vengeful.
