Now, what about GOING to Batam on Sunday? I guess there will be no problem, because everyone is returning. Correct?
I went to Batam on Sunday few times. Most of the time, not issue in Singapore side (departure) but problem at Batam Immigration. The que was crazy long.. I always enter Batam via Batam Centre, the que line was so long till the walkway not far away from ferry entry point. It was my worst experience.

Ya that's the return Indonesian not only fr sg but also from Malaysia
If you are using HBF This Sunday evening watch up...
Not this Sunday, and I cannot do much on choosing the time. I will arrive by bus from KL.
I always take some time for errands and eating at VivoCity, so finding the first ferry to HB full would not be a problem, but I don't want to wait till last one :P
I see no reason to enter via Batam Centre if one stays in Nagoya (which is the case of 99% of those reading here).
The small saving on ferry fares is offset by the taxi fare, the time to go to Nagoya on back on return, the hassle.
And why one should really care about $4-$5 saving, when he's going to spend 50 times more for his entertainment in the weekend?
Someone there tells me they open for business only during weekends, like Saturday, Sunday or even public holidays, and during early evening. My guess is,they couldnt sustain themselves well.

"something 2000"
They hv VIP karaoki room with attach bed room, dining area, private toilet...
And yes...they hv 金丝猫. IIRC they also hv "human sushi".
Thank you for sharing,hehehe...i guess those will need some special arrangement if i want them in Batam then.
Thank you.

Yup! If one were to do calculation watever we save fm ferry cost would go to taxi cost. Mind u is two way fm n to BC. Same apply to Sekupang jetty too. Ferry discount but saving goes to taxi fare.

BC to Negoya needs taxi.
HB to Negoya needs taxi too. No?

Horizon ferry is $49, whilst the ferries going to batam centre can be bought for as low as $33. $16 savings minus $6 taxi fare ($3 per trip via Go-Jek) and it’ll be a nett $10 savings per trip.

Can also walk if you know how to cut thur the streets. I highly not recommend use gojek if at BC but if u know where to meet them then by all means go ahead. Same applies when using go car. Gd luck

Bodoh amat!!
I can take Ojek. Cheap and shorter distance fm HB to Nagoya area.
I would take ojek or even go on foot, if I did not have my heavy luggage! You know me: I avoid taxi whenever I can. I walk or take ojek.
When I enter Batam, I have one 23-kg piece of luggage plus my computer work bag. When I leave Batam, there is some additional 10 kg of fruits and the pieces of luggage have become two.

4 times a month and u save enough for a ST...
$10 savings is not worth (for me) the time wasted and hassle suffered for a two-way trip Batam Center-Nagoya. Time is money.
Then I may also argue that if I don't drink my daily cups of coffee I save $5+ day, and in one month I have enough to go to the best PRC house of Geylang.
Still, it's just $5 saving. Nothing, if I am on holiday and I accept to spend $200-$300/day for hotel, seafood, girlS (yes, there's a "s") and drinks.
In business, it's not really the absolute value, but the difference in relative terms (percentage) which is important.
