In that case, show me when if we are fated to meet in Batam then.
Travelodge is ex Novotel (a change of name)...Reddoorz Plus type is a room specially designed nicely (or exclusively) and used for other hotels (can be different hotels).

That's gonna pose a bit of prob if I need to call my gojek or gocar driver. Haha
Yes, it's an inconvenience. I was there last Friday and found my card blocked for outgoing calls. The best Pat is that when I purchase that card some 2 years ago, I used my passport to register it and even converted it to a 4G card at Telkomsel CS office at Nagoya Hill Mall.
Luckily data still work. Hence, I'm able to use whatscall to make my calls.
Batam City Hotel, at Peniun. This is where New Spa is located as well.
Oic. So is a Spa. I am looking for big bath tub in room like u had mentioned available in H1. Harbourbay, BC and Sekupang acceptable. But not all the way to Nongsa or Waterfront (Telok Senimba)
Can not like that say lah..
For example...
If i crave for caviar and cannot find in singapore and I know some where nearest hv. Then I would buy at that place in stead of travel all the way to Russia.
Wrong analogy. Good caviar is expensive everywhere, even where they produce it on the Caspian Sea.
But I understand what you say: if I cannot go to Russia, I crave for Russian girls, should I stay without Russian girls for all my life, or adapt myself to seek them in Batam?
I am pretty sure there is some Russian escort in Singapore, but outrageously expensive. Russian market is very high priced. If a Russian girl goes abroad to work, she seeks lots of money. She will go to Dubai or Singapore, but not to Batam.
I see the so-called "Russian girls" at Beach Club in KL. They look like truck drivers, with gross face and big arms. They look more like big refrigerators with two legs below, than ladies. In spite of that, hungry Indian men with lots of money chase them and accept to pay 700 RM or 1500 RM for overnight.just because those truck drivers look exotic to their eyes. To each his own (you know, meat and poison).
I travel, so I can neglect to look for Chinese girls in Colombia (there are, but fat and ugly, mainly for local Chinese) and neglect to look for Latin girls in Batam.
And of course, I never buy rambutan in Europe, even if it's possible to find them (old, dry, and priced 20 SGD/kg).

Correction, can't send SMS as well.
So annoying!
All my Simpati card are expired already, so I have to buy new ones anyway.
But what is the meaning of:
As for foreigners, Tribun Jogja reported that they can send their passport number and temporary stay permit (KITAS) or permanent stay permit (KITAP) number via SMS to 4444.
I will buy my SIM cards at a shop at Lucky Plaza. Will my passport be enough?
What is a KITAS?? What about a tourist who stays few days??
Batam should be more active than Balai. Noticed alot of people asking wheres the MPs, farmhouse. But I hardly read any frs or see any photo sharing here. Whereas Balai is quite active.
I believe nowday if you buy a sim card, the vendor might likely help you register. But how they can register w/o your passport is a 'mystery' to me. Some might ask you for your passport so they could help you register. So far,i have not have friends who registered yet and feedbacked to me yet,hehehe...neither have i register my own.
Cheers!
I wouldnt feel comfortable to give my Passport info to small stalls.
If I really want to register I will go GraPARI(=HELLO shop in sg).

And what can they do with your passport number? Or even a photocopy?
You leave it overnight at hotel desk when you checkin, why not to a registered cell phone operator agent?
It's not a credit card, which someone can use on an online store giving simply the number, exp. date and last 3 digits on the back (bank will refund, anyway).
