You're not comparing apple to apple. Not saying those 'Fu Er Dai', do you think the SD is rich and successful since he was young? He's probably some broke bloke when he was 25-30yo and slowly worked his way up to where he is now. Now.. who was with him through the years he was slogging his ass off? Probably his then-gf or wife... who stick by him through all the hardship and gave her heart and blood and sweat. And of course when the guy is now successful at 40yo, 50yo, who gets to enjoy the fruits of labour? Of course his wife! Because she deserves it.
Now.. if you're not willing to go through this (assuming you picked the right guy), then you don't deserve the riches because all you expect is a rich guy to fall to earth from heaven. Not gonna happen.
I know many successful friends who went through the same thing. Yes you envy the lifestyle of their wives now, but you haven't seen how much hardship the wife went through for the husbands. I have a friend who is 32yo self-made millionaire in SG, drives a Bentley CGT, S400 and chauffeur for his Alphard. His monthly expenditure (personal and business) is $250K.. but all through his life he was a broke MOFO making peanuts. The girl stood by him through the worst of times.. and now she is a legit Tai Tai.
And that's the difference between a SB and a wife. And why a good wife deserves everything that her successful husband has.

And I have said - I am NOT looking for millionaires to be my future partner. The 4k and 20k statement is just my thoughts about how it is not important that a guy has alot but not willing to give. When I say give, it may not necessarily mean giving money to me. Something like this concept - When a poor parent does not have much but gives their all in order to make sure their kid goes to school. This is what I was driving at.

And please.... unless the SB specifically ask for pay per meet, please don't initiate that. And no such thing as "trial".. You give her that monthly allowance because you genuinely want to take care of her. I mean to say you have to be prepared to lose that few thousand should she decide to disappear or stop the arrangement after 2 meet ups.
