Just before Sara or myself could answer, Sara's phone vibrated and then followed by mine.

She picked it up and scrowled her forehead.

Sara: Helen is not meeting me today.
Me: Did she say anything else?
Sara: Nope.

It was my turn to scrowl.

Me: She asked me to meet her alone.
Sara: What?! I'll come with you.
Me: no. She emphasize alone.

I showed her the text.

Sara: what does she wants?

Her question is not directed to me but to herself.

Don looked at us.

Don: hey.... so how long do I have?
Sara & me: 1 week!

We replied together without prior consultation to each other. After we blurted out the reply, we looked at each other. Primal instincts told us that Helen had some news to tell us about Lucy, and it was important.

Although he was not hideous looking, but he is fat. Really fat. At least 120kg.

She clam up after that and looked out the window, a clear sign of not wanting to engage.

Matthew drove us to Jurong Hill and Helen gestured me to get off.

Matthew: you have 10 mins.

Helen nodded.

She got out from the car and walked to the bottom of the steps leading to the building. I followed.

She was waiting for me and did not proceed further.

Me: who is the guy?
Helen: Lucy wants Sara to marry the guy.
Me: what?! how?! why?!
Helen: dont ask me. Apparently she is still not satisfied.
Me: why now?
Helen: because she had seen Sara. And Sara reminded her of Sara's mum
Me: impossible. How can she make sara marry someone if she does not want to?!

I have so many questions. This is impossible.

Helen: you had seen her. Do you think Lucy cannot do it? She will have a way.

She looked away before adding.

Helen: no body can say no to Lucy.
Me: wait.... then why are you here to inform me? what should I do?
Helen: I am not here to inform you. This is a threat from Lucy. That is why Matthew is here as well.

She gestured to the car.
