CHICAGO — Nude pictures of women have been the centerpiece of Playboy magazine for 62 years, but starting March of next year, the magazine will ditch the fully nude pics. It will still feature women in a provocative poses but Playboy says they'll be more of a PG-13 flavor.

Playboy is accepting defeat at the hands of online porn websites in the battle for your eyeballs. Nudity is no longer a novelty. "You're now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free," Playboy CEO Scott Flanders told the New York Times.

It's sad to think that younger generations will never experience the thrill of finding their dad's secret wank stash. It was a rite of passage, for some a moment of brotherly bonding illuminated merely by flashlight. And gone are the days of black-bar plastic-wrapped magazines tempting teenagers to shoplift.

ZHEJIANG, CHINA — China's decade-long one-child policy and the culture's preference for sons has resulted in a gender imbalance that has China worrying about a growing number of single men.

According to the New York Times, 117 boys are born for every 100 girls in China, and by 2020, there will be 30 to 40 million Chinese bachelors — but not nearly enough women to pair them with.

Xie Zuoshi, an Economics professor at Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, has come up with an plan to solve this growing bachelor problem: wife-sharing. Professor Xie suggests addressing the problem from a purely economic standpoint, that of supply-and-demand. Because there are not enough women to go around, their value will likely increase. This isn't a problem for rich men who can afford the high prices, but low-income bachelors are priced out. To solve this quandary, Xie suggests poor bachelors can share the same woman instead, adding that this practice has been known to exist in some remote and poor areas, where brothers can share the same wife and still live happily, reports the BBC.

Apart from wife-sharing, the professor also suggested that monogamy be banned, and same-sex marriage and wife-sharing be legalized to resolve the issue of far too many men.

Chinese netizens were none too happy with Xie's solution, calling his ideas ridiculous and immoral. But Xie hit back at his haters, saying, "if we don't let 30 million bachelors have women, their lives would have no hope and then they may go around, raping, killing, setting off bombs …"

BALTIMORE — Surgeons at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine are hoping to within a year perform the first penis transplant in the United States on a young soldier injured by a bomb explosion in Afghanistan, the New York Times reported.

The surgery is experimental, and doctors at Johns Hopkins have been given permission to perform 60 transplants.

According to U.S. Department of Defense Trauma Registry figures cited by the New York Times, as many as 1,367 soldiers suffered wounds to the genitals in Iraq and Afghanistan after being injured by IEDs between 2001 and 2013. Some lost all or part of their penises and/or testicles.

In the first penis transplant in the U.S., a the penis of a recently deceased donor will be removed and carefully dissected to keep its blood vessels, nerves and connecting structures intact.

Then surgeons will then connect the nerves, veins and arteries of the donor's penis to the recipient's correlating tissue and stitch them together under a microscope.

The recipient's nerves will grow into the transplant at a rate of about one inch per month, which means it could take several months for the patient to recover sexual function.

If however the transplant fails, the donor's penis will be removed, leaving the recipient in the same condition as before the surgery.

Among the risks are bleeding and infection. The patient will also have to take anti-rejection medicines for all his life, which could increase his chances of developing cancer.

Only two other penis transplants have been performed: a failed one in China in 2006 and a successful one in South Africa in 2014.

The estimated cost of the procedure is $200,000 to $400,000 per operation.

Mr. Jiang and his former fiancee, a 37 year old woman identified by her last name Xu, met through a matchmaker. After dating for several months the two decided to get in engage, but prior to the wedding Mr. Jiang and Ms. Xu decided to spend the night together at a hotel.

Much to Ms. Xu’s dismay Mr. Jiang was unable to perform. Mr. Jiang insists it was just a case of nerves.

Mr. Jiang’s fiancee and her family insisted he go see a doctor but he refused, so his fiancee broke off the engagement.

Mr. Jiang then demanded Ms. Xu return all the money and gifts he’d given her during the course of their relationship, when she refused, he sued her. However, a judge ruled that as the gifts were given willingly, she had no legal requirement to return them.

Now, Mr. Jiang is suing Ms. Xu and her mother for slander. He alleges that the two women have been gossiping about his failure to perform and because of their slanderous tongues he’ll never be able to get married.

Hmm. Wonder if the slander case will stand up in court?

After much lobbying from activists, it appears as if India is finally moving towards criminalising marital rape. The minister of state for home affairs indicated in the upper house of Parliament recently that the government will be proposing amendments to the Indian Penal Code to criminalise marital rape. If that amendment really comes to pass, “she’s my wife” will no longer be a legal defence for rape in India.

It’s a positive sign from India, but what about in Singapore? Marital rape is still not considered a crime here, as long as the wife in question is not under the age of 13. So technically a man could rape his wife – who could be as young as 13 – and still not be prosecuted for rape.

The only situations in which marital rape is criminalised in Singapore is if there are already divorce proceedings under way, if the court has already issued an injunction prohibiting the man from having sex with his wife, or if the wife already has a protection order against her husband.

The logic behind not criminalising marital rape is essentially patriarchal and outmoded. It assumes that a woman, upon marriage, automatically gives consent to any and every sexual encounter her husband chooses to have with her. Once she signs that marriage certificate, she is deemed to have handed over agency over her own body.

Such a reasoning should have no place in Singaporean society today. Women do not simply sign away their right to their own bodies upon marriage. No man, not even her husband, should have the right to her body if consent is not given.

The refuse to criminalise marital rape also has its consequences outside of the courts. It signals to society that rape within the marital home is not a crime that we all need to stand against, but simply a “domestic issue” that the couple need to work out in private. Worse, the refusal to acknowledge women’s agency over their bodies perpetuates the mindset that wives should submit to their husbands. Such pervasive mindsets in society leave women who have faced sexual assault by their husbands isolated and vulnerable, and makes it more difficult for them to seek help or report the abuse they have suffered.

Marital rape is already recognised and criminalised in many countries. There is no good reason why Singapore should not do the same.

SHANGHAI — Sleeping with the boss to get to the top is nothing new, but a Shanghai girl is taking shameless to another level by posting about her conquests on social media.

The Shanghaiist reports that twenty-some-year-old Molly was on call 24/7, often working through the nighttime hours, as a secretary to her boss … and oftentimes as much, much more.

The boss, she claims, gave her the thumbs up to create an Instagram account, where she posted sordid details about the affair they were having.

Molly apparently accompanied her boss to meetings and business trips, where they presumably got the job done quickly and efficiently.

Because of this, Molly, of course, has earned the ire of netizens, who've taken to defiling her photos with little hearts emblazoned with the words: 'you suck!' because, well … that'll teach her!

But with the boss giving her bonuses and pay raises left and right for a job well done, the girl is certainly getting her legs up on life.

If she plays her cards right, she'll probably be able to get early retirement by the time she's 30. If the angry people on the Internet don't find her first, that is.

CHONGQING, CHINA — Two Chinese airline passengers got an unexpected Valentine's Day surprise when their flight from Chongqing to Hangzhou was cancelled.

With thousands of passengers stranded due to snowstorms, Hainan Airlines booked the two women into a kinky love hotel after their flight was grounded by bad weather late on Feb. 14, according to the Shanghaiist, citing news portal Sina.

The women, who are friends — but not like that — posted photos of the unnamed hotel to social media. And it seems they got the pick of the rooms.

The "50 Shades of Gray" style-suite was pimped out with everything you'd expect to find in a room catering to the modern traveller. You know ... air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a sex chair … err … yeah … a sex chair — fully equipped with chains and handcuffs.

Posting on microblogging site Weibo, the women joked about the room being "a small Valentine's surprise", according to the Shanghaiist.

Hainan Airlines apologised for the mistake but said accommodation was hard to find that night, the South China Morning Post reported, citing thepaper.cn

The airline also said it did not check the interior design of the room.

SOMEWHERE IN NIGERIA - Police were called to a scene where a 15-year-old teenage boy had been tied to a pillar by his feet along with a pair of goats.

The farmer responsible for the boy’s situation told police he’d done it to teach the boy a lesson.

Apparently, the farmer had caught the teenager sexually assaulting his herd of goats. The horny teenager didn’t really enjoy self-satisfaction when it came to sex, so he came up with an alternative method of getting his rocks off with the farmer’s goats.

After the farmer busted the teenager he decided to tie the young man to a pillar near the center of the village along with a pair of the young man’s ‘lovers’.

Good Health has listed some surprising causes of low libido, starting with a stuffy nose or impaired sense of smell. It may not sound like an obvious trigger, but a study conducted four years ago by the University of Gothenburg in Sweden discovered men who had no sense of smell had fewer sexual partners than those whose nasal function was normal. It was also found that women who had trouble differentiating smells felt insecure in their relationship.

"A lot of social signals are transported through the olfactory channel (the nose lining and associated nerves) and a depleted sense of smell makes it likely that you might miss them," study leader Psychologist Dr Ilona Croy noted.

If you sense a cold coming on, up your vitamin intake to avoid causing a clogged nose.

2. You don't take a break from wearing heels.

Another surprising thing that could be ruining women's sex lives is high heels. Running around in stilettos all day causes postural muscles, those that keep you upright, to go into overdrive, which could lead to sex being less enjoyable.

"If the pelvic floor muscles are chronically contracted, they can become tight and therefore restrict the passage of nerve impulses going through them to the reproductive organs and arousal tissue," Dr. Eden Fromberg, a New York-based gynecologist, explained.

"Wearing high heels all day can affect a woman's orgasm—there is a reported improvement in female patients who retire their heels or use them only rarely."

3. You've been sitting the whole day.

Even sitting at a desk all day for work might have an impact. Not getting up and stretching enough means the muscles of the pelvic floor and psoas muscle, which runs from the lower back to the groin, aren't contracted enough. This means the signals that pass along the nerves to the reproductive organs are affected.

"Bucket chairs and recliners are the worst for exacerbating the sorts of postural problems that can lead to compromised sexual pleasure," Dr Fromberg added.

So make sure you get up every so often and get your nerves moving—your bedroom pleasure could be jeopardized if not!
