Yes,its network-locked. I brought the 2nd AndroMax back to Singapore to test it out,it cant be used on a Starhub sim card (at least).

350k rupiah is just the initial device price with sim card and i think it comes with a free 5GB data (if i didnt remember wrong,or was it 2GB?). Each top up however last a month tho,starting from 60k to 150k rupiah if you wish to keep the EXTRA "data bonuses". Sim card itself last a year (according to the seller).

Andromax is actually good for bros who stay in Batam or is in Batam most time. I am now the proud owner of 2 of this andromax devices,hopefully i do not need to buy a 3rd one tho.

Reminds me, some samster bros i knew in person here whom has joined me to batam couple of times before actually enjoy setting up IPcams INSIDE their hotel room,hehehe... and they can view whats going on in their room from their mobile phone when they were not in-room. For safety sake,which they claimed,hehehe...

*i actually seen some of those recorded "videos clips",hehehe...nice! I think he did shared a little of it in this thread before.

PS : i was impressed for the fact that technology has advance so much to the extend a mobile phone power bank can be used to power up an IPcam,hehehe...

Easy, when in Batam, open WeChat and just do a search for friends nearby. You will find plenty of them mostly FLs. Just tell them you want a booking (LT) and ask for their price. Have fun but need to check what you want is what you get when they appear.

My 1st Andromax device was in white,the recent one i bought was in Black (as shown on the photo below)...beside is a mini red packet i bought from DC Mall,hehehe...cost 7k rupiah a pack,i think there should be about 20 pieces of them in it.

...the wiring was in white tho. Still,i prefer to run it via USB with my wireless card on my laptop off.

Just sharing.

*next trip when i have time,i shall start my "operation" on my previous white Andromax,hehehe...

bro nono, i have tplinks mifi , buy at sg, is it work with indo sim card? last mth i stay formosa 2nd floor, my room wifi very bad, i use my phone 4g roaming all the way, but for my friend jst few room far fr my room, ok le, funny.

Not a good investment then. Sorry to say that Nono, but this time, in my honest opinion, that's not a good value for money.
Much better to spend something more, but being able to change operator in Indonesia, and also in other countries.

Many here would not know why u are buying 2 andromax instead of just keep using one (if u aren't speaking up,I won't too). Plan A & plan B plans obviously isn't in yr option on this one since it's the same brand of isp.

I'd say u make a very smart move.
