Singapore Work permit medical check up.

Hello fellow friends, I am Malaysian and trying to get job in SG.

Recently I got a job offer with good salary in SG. I was so happy for the news and went to medical exam in Raffles

I have banged many hookers before this ( all protected sex). Average 15 encounter per year for last 2 years.

This is what happened: I went for medical exam and I come back after 3 days to collect my report, the nurse says she have to take my blood sample again because my earlier blood sample was rejected. She claimed that she tried to contact my phone but goes to voicemail( I never off my hand phone and Malaysian phone no still contactable in Singapore) She told me to come the next day to collect the report.

On the next day, another nurse told me that my blood sample was sent to outside lab and have to wait for next 2 week to get the report. She again told me that my Malaysian phone no still cannot reach when she call.

My question is:

1. Is anyone has faced this kind of situation before?
2. Is it means they detect an HIV or Hepatitis in my blood sample and they don't have want to tell me personally to avoid an awkward and emotional situation, so they are giving excuses such phone cannot reachable. Etc
3.Is it advisable to give 2 week notice to current job since sg job want me to start immediately after medical report.

Please advise fellow friends. Thanks in advance.

Yes, I was working in north for past 2 years. Went to Danok quite often too. I licked pussy many times and received bare bj too. Do you think I might get STD from pussy licking and bare Bj?

Might not be HIV or STD. Could be other reasons. Just wait. No point brooding over it.

Re: Singapore Work permit medical check up.

why not just go for a anonymous quick test on your own? rather than waiting anxiously for the result which will take dunno how long.

if you are in SG, you can go for AFA @ DSC on every Tuesday and Wednesday. AFA also operate mobile testing service all over the island. you can find out more on their website.

Re: Singapore Work permit medical check up.

I am very sorry to be the bearer of bad news

But in this situation, it is likely that your HIV screening test was positive

And they took more blood to send it for a confirmation Western Blot test

This takes 2 weeks

Please go for a rapid HIV anonymous test to confirm if this is true or not

Re: Singapore Work permit medical check up.

if you have doubts and your last exposure is more than 3 weeks.. u can consider doing the anonymous 4th Gen HIV test at AFA or give Dr Tan a visit.

Bro, there are things which cannot be changed. So instead of brooding, I suggest you to wait for the final test results first. There is no point worrying or going for more tests. Going for more tests will just make you pays more and will not turns back the clock.

Update No 2

Chronology of Test

1. Singapore Medical Exam- Still waiting for results
2. HIV rapid test- Non reactive
3. HIV rapid test #2 - Non reactive
4. HIV Elisa Test- Still pending results even after 3 days?
5. Hep B, Hep C, VDRL- Non reactive

Is Elisa or rapid test is prone to False Negative/ False Positive?
