Sexual Health IssuesIf you need medical advice regarding your sexual health, ask Dr Tan. We are honored to have an In House Doctor who is here to help.
Went for a checkup at DSC, all was good, counter staff and nurse were great, until the final room. The doctor was polite and all, asking about my sex life and stuff. I decide to be honest, he learns that I have had multiple sex partners and asks me what is the best way to prevent STDs, then tell me not to fark around, like I'm a farking child. Seriously, the only reason that might put me off visiting these clinics is feeling condescension from these people. Getting checked is a good thing and should be encouraged, don't go about telling people how to live their lives.
The next time someone does that I think I'm gonna snap and tell them to go fark themselves. Want to give advice, do it with humility. There was a female intern in the room as well, dunno he trying to impress her or what.
Probably an overreaction but it's bugging me and just had to get it off my chest. Rant over thanks for reading
You really should pop a chill pill... He is a medical professional in sexual health. You are his patient seeking medical help/advice. He gave u the advice that not farking around is the best way to prevent getting STD. That is something a good doctor should do. i dont see what is wrong with doing that....

With due respect, I agree with the doctor. That is the best prevention.
Of course he's right, I just didn't like his demeanor of talking down to you like a child, and didn't expect it'll bug me for so long, so I thought better to rant it here not directing at anyone than lash out at someone in real life. I've met far unfriendlier doctors but none of them have ever irked me the slightest. Anyway I'm over it, do ignore this thread...
