Sore throat for very long
 

I wonder if sore throat for very long means std.

Had bbbj with 4 escorts and fj with condom. Painted 1 of the escort and but before i engage them, my throat already very dry.

No other symptoms. Everything else is fine and just purely sore throat for more than 1 week.

Any recommendation to do a full checkup incl check for hiv and all possible std and what the cost like.

Personally i think its nothing but just a sore throat since you mentioned your throat was already quite dry before any action

I have exp in this. Bascially im having sore throat for 2 mths.. went to ent.. doc said i got laryngopharyngeal reflux.. now still on medication.. previously, i afraid to go dsc scared pai seh so i went dr tan..they are very professional but go only if u have the cash..

But i eat finish a row of antibiotic still throat pain. But dont have other symptoms so i really confuse haha.

Before meet the first fl i engage . my throat was already v dry thou and i drink a lot of water still v dry so not sure issit my own problem or what haha.

Dr tan can share ctc? Maybe i go for a full screening. The report is instant get or need wait for next visit to get.

Same here! I also took antibiotics for 1 week and didnt feel better.. ent prescribed me acid reflux medi now and i also didnt see improvement.. really sian.. and i get headache and fatigue at night too.. but no other symtoms oocured.. do u have it too???

From what i been through..All reports need to wait(at least 1 week) except rapid hiv test(20mins) So every clinic is the same.. its just to see whether u dare to face the crowd at dsc or not.. i did everything at dr tan for a sum of $690(inclusive of consultation) comprehensive std screening + throat swab.

it means u need to visit the GP

sore throat could be a symptoms of many illness from viral infection to Ebola :eek:
and antibiotics does not help with viral infection..

actually i realise everytime after sex, my throat sibei dry. drink 1 full bottle still dam dry..

not sure why everytime after sex jitao thristy.. is it an illness? haha

I'm not trying to alarm anyone but a persistent sore throat is a cause for concern. It could be an HPV infection of the throat which can lead to cancer.

It should be a time of joy and celebration but a Hamilton man will spend the first weeks of his baby boy's life undergoing cancer treatment.

Ryan Hikuroa, 34, began chemotherapy and radiotherapy for human papillomavirus (HPV) related throat cancer at Waikato Hospital on Monday, just five days after his first child was born.

Hikuroa said the birth of his son, who was yet to be named, had given him the power to push on.

Things had been going well for Hikuroa and his wife, Farah.

In May she fell pregnant with the couple's first child after undergoing IVF.

Just three months later they moved from Auckland to Hamilton where Hikuroa got a job as an electrician.

About the same time he went to the doctor for a finger injury.

He also asked the GP to look at his throat, which had been sore for almost a year, and a lump that had developed under the left side of his jaw, which he thought was related to a "bad tooth".

"They just thought it was tonsillitis," Hikuroa said.

Antibiotics reduced the redness and swelling around the lump but when he finished the medication, the lump became more aggressive. Hikuroa also got septic sores in his mouth and small growths on his tonsils.

His GP took swabs in September "but nothing came back" so he was referred to an ear, nose and throat specialist at Waikato Hospital.

The specialist diagnosed the cancer.

Hikuroa was told he would need radiotherapy five days a week for seven weeks and three sessions of chemotherapy.

Actually my throat is better now. I pop 2 x antibiotics pill and the sore throat not is not there already.
Just that after having sex, i can feel my whole body very dehydrate and my throat very dry ( I use 1x listerine, and 1 x oral mouth wash (doctor perscribe) and 1x colgate mouth wash) then I gaggle and rinse off, then I drink 2 full bottle of water. now feel better.

Yes brother sammyfor, may i check where can i go to do a full checkup for all kind of STD & that HPV for Throat. I pop vitamins on a daily basis.

I'm not sure there is a test specifically for HPV of the throat. The wart virus is in most of us and certain strains of the virus are implicated in cancer of the throat, cervix and penis.

In the majority of those infected the virus does no harm whatsoever.

I suggest you consult an ENT specialist.

Finally popping vitamins on a daily basis does absolutely nothing when it comes to preventing infections. The only time vitamin supplements are needed is when your diet is unbalanced. If your diet meets all your daily nutritional needs popping extra pills is just a waste of your hard earned dollars.

Thank you sir, i will consult one if my sore throat doesn't improve. Right now its actually stop feeling that bad after I pop 1 x antibiotic on 2 days and it sort of goes off.

Just minor throat irritating after yesterday sex as i feel very dehydrated and very thristy. it feel the same everytime i have sex. so i think i lack of water.

That is true.. i recalled that i engaged in deep french kissing too.. which can lead to hpv.. let me share with you guys of my current symptoms now. Dry mouth, ocassionally burning tongue, sore throat(mild one) fatigue, headache and constant drooling at night.. went to consuly the most senior ent specialist.. but specialst said is laryngitis reflux..was prescribed omeprazole 20mg.. eat liao even more tired and drowsy.. read that this could be the side effects.. but i read before that hpv throat is very difficult to detect

Noted with thanks, so in general if I go visit a ML , i should avoid kissing her too. just let her HJ and massage, will that be safer? haha.

My first two bonk in FL Dome L engage in heavy kissing, maybe thats where it begin, but whether its due to that i am still unsure as i personally before engage already have dry throat and some small fever. I din't get myself check yet, then follow by the next few FL, not much kissing. Most probably could be the first two session that I engage with a local FL but this FL did a lot of mouth wash before the BBBJ and after CIM , she also do mouth wash again.

Recently engage a ML, this ML also kiss me, but not that long maybe less than 1 minute. Maybe i kana jackpot at my first 2 sessions hahaha ! but okay la, so far penis no grow any weird things or body no other weird reaction.

Main thing is I wanna check if I kana any STD ... Pai seh where to check ah.. any contact to share for STD full check

and will visit a ENT specialist if my sorethroat issue does not subside or recover.

So far my throat is much better than it was 1 week ago after I pop 1 antibiotic per day for 2 days.

My plan is to clear and check myself for

1) HIV (most important)
2) STD
3) STI

Then lastly check on throat to ensure everything is fine. then most probably just go for HJ and massage if my body got the needs.

Whatever you do.. make sure you are protected.. but protection doesnt mean no risk..i played 2 times with the same girl n kenna this sore throat( though it could be linked to other issues). Anyways, go find out more abt the window period first then go dsc to book an appointment and a walk in to AFA@ dsc for an anonymous hiv test.. no need to be shy as the patients dont really care and wont even look at you.. at least clear your std and hiv status first then go for other diagnosis if sore throat still persist.
