To date however, without the foreskin:
* during urinating, a bit harder to aim especially if the toilet ball is small. No problem on standing urinate.
* the tip is not protected and sometimes get irritated if the underware material is not smooth, the irritation may even cause little pain
* the head is still too sensitive with so many years passed by! I meant, sometimes when walking I can feel frictions with pants is not very comfortable
* intercourse sensitiveness is reduced, this is good
So, guys, there is good and bad experience that I can share.
Different people may experience different outcome.
Very true observation.
i did mine in NS when i was clearing my ORD leave. my foreskin was super tight. So out of medical reason, i booked went to polyclinic to get referral letter and booked apointment at SGH, with my 11B, and got fully subsidy for the recommended surgery. One of the wisest decisions i made in life, and the advantages are many!! haha. Too bad during my time no laser, only knife.
But like bro sanwa, my head still feels sensitive today, 10 years after my ORD. so im not entirely confident to comment about the resultant delay in ejaculation.
i've been thinkin of goin for circumcision and i have after reading the informative details given by some of the bros here, i do have abit more questions.
as a 30yr old havin phismosis, i have no idea what has collected underneath the foreskin over these years.
So once the skin is cut and the penis exposed, will those deposits ard the penis be easy to remove, esp over time? and how?
and over long will it take to have it lookin clean and sauve?

Dear bro, i think its unnecessary to worry about any deposits because once the foreskin is removed, so too will any desposits since they would only cling on to the skin, not the muscle (penis). If i am not wrong, it is also the surgeon's duty will clean up your penis and make it look presentable after the surgery. You will immediately find your penis looking shinny and tender, without the forekin.

I was covered under Health Shield - enhanced - premium was paid by medisave.
I just did mine at Gleneagles - it was an urgent case (infection on foreskin).
A Renown urologist did the cut, charges: $2500++
Gleneagles charge $2000++
Consultation + follow up + dressing + HIV & STD test: $1000++
I have to paid cash up front first, then claim thru the hospital.
Manage to claim all charges back ($5000++) except for the HIV and STD test(I didn't submit for fear it might affect the main claim).
It was a slow recovery for me, will post about my experience another day, rested 5 weeks at home, 1st PCC was 10 weeks after op, is this consider very slow?

Im 30 years old and I just did a circumcision yesterday at NUH.
The doctor bandage the area up but the bandage came off this morning. Was told to wash the wound with the special solution they provided, and pat it dry after that. This must be done 2 times a day.
so far so good, minimal bleeding but i think the shaft is a bit swollen. But dick head is sensitive like siao and I cant walk normally.. is this normal?

Normal lah.
I can't walk normal for 2-3 weeks w/o the bandage.
The washing is important, do not skip.
If you really need to go out, put a similar bandage around it, but let it "air" in the night.
the doctor only bandage it up after the surgery, then told me it will automatically fall off and till then dont wet the bandage..
but Day 2 the bandage auto came out and i have nothing covering it now..
So now I wash the area with the special solution 2 times a day and carefully dry it before wearing back my loose boxers...
but it seems the underside of the shaft is quite swollen.. with some bleeding at the stitches..
Brothers, how many more days till the swelling will subside?
any idea?
erm any bros can help me out ? i'm curious to know what are the pros & cons between a laser circumcision and the traditional method ?
Laser - lesser pain & faster healing (My 2 yrs old son come out smiling)
Traditional - Damn bloody painful and longer healing period (Damn suay my time)
