So here i am again. Time to give some updates to the situation.

Things just got a little kinky these days.

So she gave a subtle feedback, that she is ... bored and especially during weekends when i cant even reply her msgs. She understood that the wifey is mostly with me during weekends and at nights, but she cant help but feel lonely.

And insecure. oh?

So she quoted this other colleague... young chap, very fresh and charming, and with a wealthy background. I knew he has been wooing her for a while, just kept quiet about it.

She showed me the msgs, and revealed that they went out for a dinner and movie last weekend. She didnt dare to tell me, because all she wanted was some company and that i would be pissed about her being..... UNFAITHFUL?

Lol. In my mind, this is getting ridiculous. And my heart melted.

While i have no feelings for her, its just aint right for me to keep her, and keep her from pursuing her own blissful life and marriage.

This chap is nice, really nice, well-mannered and full of drive. I actually like him. We worked on a project before and he has all these initiatives that i think highly of.

At this point, she broke down in front of me, in office. She say she is sorry and dont know what to do. She doesnt want to lose me and yet she's feeling all these emotions whenever i'm not around that its draining her.

I decided to do the right thing then...

The right thing is to leave her.

Noble? Not really. To be honest, it was fun while it was good.

But it aint fun anymore if it turns ugly and emo.

So i decided, i should cut her loose at this juncture.

'Give him a chance' I muttered, in my most sincere voice ever.

'What?' She looked up, almost surprised.

'You need to think about yourself....' i almost puke at this point.

So i went on about life's principles and all, and that we had our share of 'love' and fun and its time to say goodbye, in a nice way.

I gave her a long tight hug, while she sobbed uncontrollably (luckily it was lunch time, nobody was around).

'Thank you for everything... i love you darling...' she mumbled in between sobs of tears and mucus.

And there we have it, things ended between us and she went ahead to accept the nice kid's proposal. They went official and rumours started to spread in office about them becoming an item.

Everyone knows how close i was with her, and came over to ask me. There was once when another colleague walked past my room and came in to ask me if i knew about it. She was in my office then,

and her reply was epic.

'Yup, I accepted him before of his approval.' The 'his' being ME in this case.

Somehow, that fucking boosted my ego and turned me on
